I just read on the Galion Live Facebook page about the struggles to get the word out about local events, etc..

No offense to the Inquirer, but have you looked at its ads recently? At least half of them, and probably more, are ads from the paper itself. At the same time, the price of a display ad has gone up, not down. Go figure. Can you imagine if GalionLive didn't exist. How would we know about anything in town? Only a handful of my friends read any newspaper at all.

I try to check here and on Facebook at least once a day. I just wanted to say thank you to the people who are doing this website.

Not only is the Inquirer a sad excuse for a source of information, they have a habit of listing the wrong dates, times and locations of events.

They are actually doing more harm than good now.
Funny you mention this. I happen to know that the Inquirer still prints a church service time every week for a church which has been closed for over a year and a half. They even covered the story when the church closed. Do they even read their own paper?

The Inquirer should be the first place drug testing starts.

The sports reporter is the only person with any skills.
