JB Shines in Spring Ball
Opening day is right around the corner for baseball, and Galion's own JB Shuck is making waves with the Houston Astros.
Not only is playing with the major league club, he is pounding the ball as well.
Today's line up, he is in it.

First and second cuts have already happened and JB is still playing with the ASTROS.
Normally by this time, those that don't have a chance at the majors this year are relegated to the lower ranks, AAA, AA, A teams and travel with them.
He's close....very close.

Each major league club is allowed to start the season with 40 players on the squad.
As it is right now, the ASTROS have 42 players on the team, last remaing position to be selected is the remaning outfielder position. If there is a time to shine JB, it is now. Good luck in the next few days,

Disapointing news out of Houston.
JB does not start the season with the ASTROS. Even though he out performed, out hit Carlos Lee, he does not get the slot.

At some point in time this season, he will be called up to the majors.
He opens up AAA ball in Oklahoma City .
