The election in November

For those that do not like the way Galion has and is being run, your chance to change things starts now.

 

Run for office !! Get of the couch and your soap box and run.

 

Listen to your fellow citizens.

 

Do what's right, become informed.

 

In some precincts you need to only collect two hundred votes to win.

 

The only two questions you have to ask when you run in your precinct to the voters are these :

 

1. Are you better off since X has held their city council seat ?

 

2. Is Galion better off since X has held their city council seat ?

 

First ward held by Dave " Silent " Smith is up for grabs

 

Third Ward held by Gail Baldinger is up for grabs

 

At large seat held by Shirley " Ice Rink "  Clark is up for grabs

 

It's now or never, Galion can not afford anymore of the same leadership.

GO TO GALION OHIO CITY COUNCIL ON YOUR COMPUTER AND IT WILL TELL YOU WHO EVERYONE IS,AND WHAT WARD THEY SERVE,.AND WHEN THEY ARE UP FOR RE ELECTION. THERE ARE 3 ON THE BALLOT THIS YEAR,GAIL BALDINGER WARD 3,DAVE SMITH WARD 1,SHIRLEY CLARK,COUNCIL AT LARGE.

Thanks but there is still no map showing where ward 1 is and so on.

 

Does anyone know who will be opposing the current council members going up for re-election?

Ward one is occupied by Dave " Silent " Smith . Nobody knows what he stands for...he never says a word.

 

If you live west of Market Street and North of Harding Way....this is ward one

IT IS A LITTLE EARLY TO TELL WHO IS RUNNING AGAINST WHO,MY GUESS IT WILL COME OUT AROUND SEPTEMBER,THEN YOU WILL HAVE TILL NOVEMBER TO MAKE UP YOUR MIND. THE LOCAL PAPER WILL TELL THE  PROS AND CONS AND WHAT THEY WANT TO CHANGE  IN THERE ELECTION PROMISES IF THE INQUIRER GETS IT PRINTED BEFORE NOVEMBER. Shirley ( knoswher ), since you are finding out information now, why don't you find out from TOY how many millions Galion owes for the failed AMP plant that was cancelled - you VOTED on it, don't the citizens have a right to know ?

 

Maybe Toy can tell you how much Galion owes for the Gorsuch power plant closing and clean up as well. That is the coal powered plant that AMP closed, yet TOY publicly states is still open.

Care to share with us where and when and how he SUPPOSEDLY "publicly" stated this? I didn't think so because you can't. 

 

This plant stopped generating electricity in late 2010. He has never claimed it was still generating electricity after those operations stopped. The world can drive by and see it is no longer generating electricity so for him (AS YOU CLAIM) to say it is still doing so wouldn't make any sense.

How many millions does Galion owe AMP on the failed plant ?

 

Galion citizens have a right to know this, yet you refuse to talk openly about it.

 

Hide it, and it doesn't exist.  Yet every AMP community associated with it talks of the financial reprecusions of their involvement with it.
