"Watts are watts. A 1500 watt heater will only give out 1500 watts no matter what the claim is. That heater pull 10.25 amps at 120 volts so don't over load the wall outlet.

School Board Announces Installation of Solar Panels: March 20, 1985
Galion School appropriations topped $ 10 million for the first time in 1985, when State Lottery funds joined cash made available by local voters, who had graciously passed a 5 year, 2.6 mill levy in 1983. - Margaret Mae Moller was Harry's daughter by his first wife (which makes her my mother's half sister). Her mother died of a brain tumor when she was 10. I was aware that she had performed with her father when she was a child; she was no longer performing by the time Harry married my grandmother (May 1925). I've never heard anything about her being in a movie. In addition to performing in vaudeville, Harry managed movie theaters, so maybe this is a reference to her having appeared at movie theaters (there was often live entertainment between the films). I met Margaret only once, in 1986 or 1987; she died in 2005. She was married to Kenneth Atha and lived mainly in Michigan and Florida. Thanks for posting the photo; would it be possible to scan the entire article?

- I would love to see some old classmate pictures. It is good to finally connect with someone from Galion that was in my class. I sang in the choir in both Junior and Senior High. We did sound of music one year at the Junior High. I took some accounting at Parkland College here. I didn't go into that field though. I took some bookkeeping classes in High School.

- Jan and I grew up together. He married my cousin Sandra Tennant. Small world. Do they still live on Church Street in Galion where Jan grew up or did they move? He lived and grew up on Church Street in a big white house. I haven't talked to Jan and Sandra in some time. Do they have a web site or internet address? What did you major in at OSU? I work at the University of Illinois in Urbana Illinois.

Does the names Jan Meek, Sandra Stinehelfer, Diane Sinclair, Martin Meeker, Ed Cass, Lawrence Triesch, just to name a few classmates sound familiar to you? I rember about the ghosts and the MS you are talking about. We lived on Primrose Street, moved to South Street and when we left lived on Atwood Street in Galion. I still have cousins living in Galion.

- No John I didn't work in the cafeteria but I attended High School there in the 60's. Do you remember when they dug up the side yard to add the new addition on the old school and found a grave yard? It was quite the conversation in Galion. I would have graduate in 1967. We moved away before that time. We left Galion in 1966. I grew up in Galion and went to East School, Galion Jr. HIgh on Boston Street and of course good old Galion Sr. High. GO TIGERS!

One obvious thing about cats in general is that they all fancy themselves kings and queens ( that would explain refusing even cat "treats" at times, like mine do) They always want you to know who they think is really in charge.
It appears you were down at OSU in the same time frame I was. Did you have to stay in the towers your first year or two? I was there( Morrill) in 1968 . I was able to room over in Patterson Hall on South Campus the next year due to acquaintance with a girl from Cleveland that I met at orientation in the summer of 1968. We kept in touch our freshman year and she unvited me to room with her the next year. Somehow she was able to be a dorm floor supervisor (as a student) so I was able to get out of the towers..

- My old desktop still has windows 95 & the laptop has Vista. My XP desktop died & my XP laptop needs a bios battery. Windows 95 doesn't have a USB port, & the Vista laptop doesn't have a floppy.The various Word programs don't get along, & I miss my XP laptop because it converted the Windows 95 floppy files to the updated Word programs on the Zip drive.In short, I've got a mess transferring data. I'll try to get the files back on Facebook. I haven't seen any "Friend" request from you on Facebook yet. Life's sure got its problems!
