My tummy hurts, fine visitors of Galionlive. Achy-achy hurts. Which is pitiful. And horrid. Poo. I wish to curl up in a ball on the couch with a hot water bottle clutched to my aching midsection, but, lacking a hot water bottle, cannot.

My father, Thomas N., the beloved best friend of Galionites everywhere, sucks at video gaming. He recently picked up the game 'The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker' and has been pitifully blundering his way through. The game itself makes him physically ill, and there have been many occasions where he has opted to just lay down on the couch and doze until the nausea passes. He is insufferable, I swear. Running in circles, asking multitudes of idiotic questions, and generally making a mockery of his [questionable] intelligence.

But I digress.

My brain is often a messy mash-up of a million minuscule things - from Dumbledore's coming out of the closet to the fake cardinal wing stuck in my mannequin head to the persistent itch in the center of my back. How my fingers seem sluggish today, reluctant to type at any speed faster than a snail's crawl. I'm actually just rambling pointlessly now. Ugh, I feel ill.

I cleaned off the desk under the clock in my downstairs last night, unearthing forgotten treasures of times when dinosaurs roamed the earth and the first humans were discovering fire and making wheels - aka from like, 10 years ago. I rediscovered my Mom's wallet, her laminated [sorta] Bank One credit card, one of her scarves (I wonder if it smells like her? I've nothing to compare it to.), and millions of assorted papers. It was fun. Sort of.

But anyway. My cousins and uncle came up for a few hours from Pickerington yesterday - oodles of fun. I've never seen so many people in my house at once, it was quite entertaining. We ate at the Varsity Grill (Reuben was to die for) and chatted, eventually we all dissipated to our own homes and I slept more peacefully than I have in a week. I was t-i-r-e-d, lemme tell you.

So i started watching a new anime called Soul Eater, right? It's pretty cool, although i have to sift through Veoh to find any new episodes. Just a reminder to me - episode 13. Ah! This might be a good place for me to write down the chapters of the mangas I'm reading on mangafox.com - Kitchen princess: Najika and the Salt Caramel. Beauty Pop: ch. 49. Skit Beat!: Chapter four.

Alright. Now that is out of the way. I hope Dad plays Zelda more often - this whole 'lack of internet access' thing is grating my brain to a fine colby-jack powder. No time to email friends, no time no time. Alas alack and fie, I've run out of witty things to spout on about.

But then again, I never really do. Or do I...? Cryptic.

We have three game systems in this house and I can't play any of them!! I am totally uncoordinated and the last time I played Donkey Kong I drowned him. I'm getting ready to try Wii Fit though and do yoga. I can hear the kids laughing at me already.
And Caroline you a VERY entertaining writer!! I'll have to check out your blogs more often. Hope you and you dad are having a very groovy week!

I feel for your dad! My 13yo recently introduced me to Baldour's Gate Dark Alliance. We're actually having a blast with it! He says I'm better than his older brother now! :) The cool thing about Baldour's Gate is you can play at the same time instead of turn-taking. My oldest is into Manga/Anime. I'm forced to watch every episode of Bleach at least. Given this blog entry, I'm certain you would love Foamy the Squirrel. I might post a video on my page.

I gave up watching video games during the era of Duke Nukem for the very same nausea feelings. My son attempted to lure me into Grand Theft Auto, Halo and a few of the ..... Sonic and Tails games .... wow. Not a good scene for us. Yeah, This girl should stick to Pac Man and Tetris!

To set the record straight, for a person of my age, I absolutely ROCK at Zelda. Then again, it does give me motion sickness, and I can only play for a few minutes at a time.
